Real-Time Wireless Communications

Real-Time Wireless Communications

With a wireless-ready Toughbook, home health care attendants and visiting nurse associates can retrieve patient histories from the road and electronically transmit prescription information directly from a patient’s bedside to the pharmacy. Hospital workers can send patient information to the hospital’s mainframe for immediate invoice generation at the time of patient discharge. Doctors can access test results (blood work, x-rays, MRI’s, etc.) as soon as they are available without waiting for chart updates. Currently we offer a variety of integrated options that support all nationwide wireless networks including 1xRTT/CDMA and GSM/GPRS as well as next-generation technologies such as EDGE and EVDO.
