Patient education videos and .pdf files, entertainment videos, digital photos, audio files can all be stored on a USB thumb drives and played directly through the HCI RoomMate IPTV without any networking or external hardware.  To further enhance and improve its non-networked functionality, the HCI BedMate III IPTV also has available an optional built-in hard drive.

Your healthcare staff can have full control over the functions of the IPTV from a remote a nurses station when the BedMate IPTV is networked with the HCI Media Server and working through the HCI BedMate software. This control option assists the staff by further reducing their time spent on non-clinical tasks such as hunting down an AV cart, the proper DVD or VHS tape, and setting it all up for patient education.
