Projects of this nature touch upon many separate infrastructure components. Issues such as internal network design and router configuration often affect the mobile platform rollout. Planning for rollout testing early on in the process will find most issues before they arise. CDCE’s competence in vehicle mounts, wiring harnesses, wireless local area networks (WLAN), global positioning systems (GPS), antennas and printers ensure a smooth transition from current products and processes to a fully functional mobile, wireless computing system.
CDCE testing will include all hardware components in-vehicle, middleware connectivity testing and data movement as well as complete end-to-end communications test.
Training on the various components of our mobile computing solutions can be accomplished in a number of ways. CDCE will provide platform and in-vehicle training on Toughbook product(s) to customer employees—these can be users or trainers. Training will cover the basics of the Operating System, as well as Toughbook-specific devices and wireless network training. Other training may be provided as needed.
